In our highly targeted environment it’s all too easy to miss the challenges and opportunities available from working with and nurturing our people – through our work together I have learned how to incorporate emotional competence with hard-nosed business sense – now my team and their reports are feeling the benefits of this, the workplace is happier and better organised than it has been for years, and I’m sure this is one of the key contributors to our impressive achievements last year.
