Terms of Business

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions explain how we work together and apply to all services provided by Being Space.

When you make a booking for a workshop or one-to-one session, you are confirming that you accept these Terms and Conditions. This acceptance takes effect at the point of booking, whether or not you have read them in full.

You will always be able to access these Terms via our website, and we will clearly indicate when they apply.

3. Confidentiality

We treat your privacy with care and respect.

Any personal or sensitive information you share with us will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

We will only use your name or experience for testimonials or case studies if you have given clear written permission.

In return, we ask that you respect the confidentiality of our work. This means not sharing our materials, methods, or content with others unless we have agreed this in writing.

Any materials created specifically for you will also be treated as confidential.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All materials we provide remain our intellectual property.

You are very welcome to use them for your own personal development and learning, and—where relevant—for work accredited by us. However, they may not be copied, shared, sold, or reused commercially without our written permission.

5. One-to-One Sessions: Cancellation and Changes

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we will always aim to be fair and flexible where possible.

– If you need to cancel or reschedule a session with less than 2 working days’ notice, the full session fee will be charged.
– If we have already incurred non-refundable costs (such as travel or venue hire), these will need to be covered.
– Where possible, sessions rescheduled within 7 days of the original booking may not incur additional fees.

If sessions are postponed for more than 45 working days (without mutual agreement), the service will be treated as cancelled and any further work may require a new agreement.

We may occasionally need to end services with 14 days’ notice. If this happens, you will receive a refund for any sessions that have not yet taken place.

6. Workshops: Cancellations and Transfers

Because workshops are small and carefully prepared, changes can have a significant impact. We’ve designed the following policy to balance fairness with practicality.

6.1 Cancellations

Refunds are based on how much notice you provide before the workshop start date:

– 15 days or fewer: no refund
– 16–30 days: 25% refund
– 31–45 days: 50% refund
– 46–60 days: 75% refund
– More than 60 days: 90% refund

Refunds are based on the full workshop fee, regardless of whether you paid a deposit or the full amount.

6.2 Deposits

Deposits secure your place and form part of the total fee. By paying a deposit, you agree to complete the remaining balance within the agreed timeframe.

6.3 Transfers to Future Workshops

If your plans change, transferring to a future workshop is often the best option.

Credit is applied as follows:

– 15 days or fewer: 50% credit
– 16–30 days: 75% credit
– 31–45 days: 90% credit
– 46+ days: 100% credit

Credits can be used toward a future workshop within 12 months (unless otherwise agreed).

6.4 Transferring Your Place to Someone Else

If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your place to another person with our approval. We will always aim to be reasonable.

6.5 If We Need to Cancel or Reschedule

If we need to cancel a workshop, we will let you know as soon as possible and provide a full refund.

If a workshop is rescheduled, you can choose to:

– transfer to the new date, or
– receive a full refund

While we always do our best to avoid changes, we cannot cover additional costs such as travel or accommodation.

7. Discretion

We may occasionally make exceptions to these Terms in exceptional circumstances. Any flexibility offered is at our discretion and does not set a precedent.
